In 1964, a vision rooted in academic excellence and inclusive education took shape with the establishment of Dwaraka Doss Goverdhan Doss Vaishnav College. Guided by the ideals of knowledge, discipline, and service, the institution set out to create a learning space that would empower generations of students. Over the years, this vision has grown into a dynamic academic community, continually evolving to meet the changing demands of education while remaining committed to its core values with NIRF ranking of 91.
The School of Management has its inception from 1995 as an independent professional body and is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) a statutory body under the Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India. The SOM is affiliated with the University of Madras and is accredited with the prestigious The National Board of Accreditation (NBA) is one of the prime bodies responsible for accreditation of higher education institutions in India, along with the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). The accreditation ensures that the MBA program offered by SOM meets the recognized benchmark of world class quality education and infrastructure.
